Day-by-Day Itinerary for the Classic Golden Triangle Tour
Day 1: Welcome to Delhi – The Heart of India
Your adventure begins when you arrive at Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi. A warm face will meet you and assist you in settling into your hotel room. Take a minute to unwind and soak up the excitement of being in India’s bustling metropolis.
You can spend the evening however you like. You can take a peaceful stroll around the hotel, visit a nearby market, or simply relax after your journey.

Day 2: Exploring Delhi – A City of Stories
Wake up to your first full day in Delhi, a city rich in history, culture, and incredible sights. Quickly grab your breakfast and let the adventure begin.
Morning:
Your first stop will be the Qutub Minar, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and towering masterpiece. It offers a glimpse into Delhi’s fascinating history. Next, we will head to Humayun’s Tomb, a stunning structure that inspired the design of the Taj Mahal. Along the way, you’ll see India Gate, a grand war memorial, and the impressive Parliament House—ideal for taking photos!
Afternoon:
We will step into Old Delhi side and explore Jama Masjid, a large mosque with amazing architecture. Then, take a delightful rickshaw ride through the bustling streets of Chandni Chowk. End the day with a quiet visit to Raj Ghat, where Mahatma Gandhi’s legacy continues.
Evening:
After an action-packed day, you may unwind at your hotel or watch a spectacular sound and light show at the Red Fort. It’s an enchanting way to conclude your Delhi adventure.
Day 3: Delhi to Agra – The City of the Taj Mahal
On day 3 we’ll leave Delhi behind and travel to Agra, home to one of the most famous landmarks in the world—the Taj Mahal. The drive is around 3 hours (approximately 210 km), so you’ll have a chance to relax and enjoy the beautiful countryside along the way.
On the Way Adventure:
About halfway through your journey, you’ll stop in Sikandra to see Akbar’s Tomb. This majestic monument, set in serene gardens, is Emperor Akbar’s ultimate resting place and provides a glimpse into the grandeur of the Mughal Empire. Spend around 30 minutes visiting the site.
Afternoon:
When you arrive in Agra, your first stop will be the world-renowned Taj Mahal. This beautiful white marble building, dedicated to Mumtaz Mahal, will leave you amazed.
Next, visit the Agra Fort, another UNESCO World Heritage site. This huge stronghold, which previously housed Mughal monarchs, is rooted in history and offers breathtaking views of the Taj Mahal from its walls. Spend roughly 1 to 1.5 hours exploring the fort’s stunning architecture and learning about its intriguing history.
Evening:
You can spend the evening exploring or relaxing. You can browse through local marketplaces, purchase souvenirs, or simply enjoy the grandeur of Agra as the sun sets.
Day 4: Agra to Jaipur – The Pink City Awaits
After a mouthwatering breakfast, you’ll leave Agra for Jaipur, a 5-hour trip (240 km) through rural India’s stunning landscapes.
En Route Exploration:
On the way, we will stop at Fatehpur Sikri, the once-thriving Mughal capital. The breathtaking architecture and history of this ghost town will enchant you. Walk through the majestic gateways and courtyards, and believe it was once one of India’s most powerful cities.
Afternoon:
Arrive in Jaipur, the Pink City, and check in to your accommodation. After a little break, you’ll go off to discover Jaipur’s royal heritage. Visit the beautiful City Palace, which showcases Rajput grandeur via stunning architecture and museums. Right next door is Jantar Mantar, an extraordinary observatory that demonstrates ancient India’s scientific ability.
Evening:
As the day goes down, enjoy a stroll around Jaipur’s bustling bazaars. The city’s colorful streets are lined with artisan jewelry, fabrics, and spices, making it easy to find one-of-a-kind gifts.
Day 5: Jaipur Sightseeing and Return to Delhi
On the final day of the Golden Triangle Tour, spend a full day touring in Jaipur before returning to Delhi.
Morning:
Begin with a visit to the spectacular Amber Fort, which is located just outside the city. This vast palace complex, with its stunning architecture and scenic views, is one of Jaipur’s most famous tourist attractions. Afternoon:
